The 2nd annual D.C. Duck Race is set for May 6, 2017, from 11 AM to 3 PM, at The Yards Park along the Anacostia River. This fun event and festival brings the community together in support of local non-profits and organizations and is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Washington, D.C. through a collaboration with the Capitol Riverfront BID. The race will begin at 2 PM!

Sponsor a duck! Sponsorships are available right now through CrowdRise.com/dcduckrace2017. Each sponsored duck is $10 (or less if three or more are purchased) and enters you into the D.C. Duck Race. The Grand Prize is a 6-day/5-night vacation in Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic or Cancun in Mexico for 2 adults and up to 2 children under the age of 12, or a Special Duck Worth $1,000,000!*
Where Funds Go
Our 2016 inaugural D.C. Duck Race provided more than $25,000 in funds to organizations that enhance the health, education and welfare of youth! The D.C. Rotary Club provides annual grants in excess of $160,000 to more than 30 local non-profits, hosts career fairs for D.C. high school student, feeds the homeless every month in the nation’s capital, and supports international projects through matching grants.
